1/48th scale F-105G Korat 1972 (HobbyBoss) BUILT Kit

This is a highly accurate BUILT and finished HobbyBoss 1/48 F-105G marked for a 561st FS aircraft at Korat, Thailand in 1972 or so. The two-seat G model was the final evolution of the F-105 derived "Wild Weasel" jamming and AA attack aircraft fitted with integral ECM jamming emmiters and typically armed as in this replica with anti-radiation missiles like the Shrike and HARM. Markings are by "Furball, " corrected vertical fin (unique for the "G") by Reskit; "Master" brass pitot, Aires cockpit. Not cheap, buts it's proven to be reliable.

Expat, retired to Thailand, build for relaxation and fun and keep only photos of my builds. I build 8 - 10 replicas a year. Note: If you have some modeling skill and encounter any problem with the kit landing gear or prefer a little stronger gear, I have enclosed an aftermarket metal landing gear set. You'll need to reuse the kit main gear actuators so make sure to salvage them.
